It’s time for the annual Taste of Forsyth 2014 in Cumming GA at the Cumming Fairgrounds.  So much food & fun packed into one day!

Event Details:

Saturday, April 19th – 11am to 6pm
Cumming Fairgrounds – 235 Castleberry Road, Cumming GA 30040

  • FREE Admission
  • FREE Egg Hunts (see times below) & Easter Bunny Photos (1pm to 3pm)
  • Live Music, Live Entertainment, Kid Zone, Touch-a-Truck & more!

The Cumming Fairgrounds will be packed with families to enjoy one of three egg hunts, live entertainment and food from restaurants all throughout Forsyth and the surrounding communities during the 2014 Taste of Forsyth.

A HUGE egg hunt with more than 25,000 eggs, sponsored by Automation Direct will offer the following times:

  • 11:30am – Children 3 & Under
  • 12:30pm – Children 4 to 7 years
  • 1:30pm – Children 8 to 10 years.

Get there early for each egg hunt, eggs go quick!

The City of Cumming and Superior Plumbing are bringing the “Taste of Forsyth” and Easter Egg Hunt back to the Cumming Fairgrounds March 30, 2013, to satisfy even the most sophisticated palates. Patrons will be able to sample all local Cumming restaurants have to offer from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM on the beautiful Cumming Fairgrounds.

Admission is FREE and samples may be purchased from 1 dollar up to 4 dollars.  More than 25 restaurants including Castleberry Ale House, Mia Italiano Ristorante, The Melting Pot, Bruster’s Real Ice Cream, Foster House, Rio Balsas and more to tempt your taste buds and fill your senses.

The Egg Hunt is for children ages 10 and under in age specific hunts at 11:30 a.m.,(ages three and under) 12:30 p.m., (ages four to seven) and at 1:30 p.m., (ages eight to 10). More than 25,000 eggs will be spread across the lawn for children to hurry and gather as many as they can. Make sure to get there early, the eggs don’t last long!

Also for the kids will be the Touch-A-Truck featuring exciting vehicles and equipment from police, National Guard, SWAT, and more including a crane, dump truck, fire trucks and a monster truck!

There will also be an enormous Kids Zone with interactive inflatables, climbing rock wall, inflatable slides and a track less train!

The anticipated crowd of more than 15,000 patrons, weather permitting, will also be delighted by the fresh acoustic sounds of Scott Thompson of Peachtree Station and the talents of Peter Hart and his magical puppet shows to delight kids young and old.

Peter Hart will be bringing his Atlanta Puppet Show to the Taste of Forsyth: Peter’s festival puppet show has appeal to everyone in a family audience with unique marionettes and puppet characters that sing, dance, juggle, play fiddle, break apart and come back together, squirt water, and are even launched by catapult across the stage!

Scott Thompson of Peachtree Station will play music all day and keep the atmosphere festive and fun!!

CHILDRENS ACTIVITIES:

There will be a wide variety of children’s activities from a Quad Bungee, Rockwall, inflatable slides, bounces, a trackless train and much more.

TOUCH-A-TRUCK:

COST:

Admission to the Taste is FREE – Parking to the Taste is FREE with food samples costing $1.00 to $4.00 each.

 

ENTERTAINMENT:

Peter Hart will be bringing his Atlanta Puppet Show to the Taste of Forsyth: Peter’s festival puppet show has appeal to everyone in a family audience with unique marionettes and puppet characters that sing, dance, juggle, play fiddle, break apart and come back together, squirt water, and are even launched by catapult across the stage!

Scott Thompson of Peachtree Station will play music all day and keep the atmosphere festive and fun!!

CHILDRENS ACTIVITIES:

There will be a wide variety of children’s activities from a Quad Bungee, Rockwall, inflatable slides, bounces, a trackless train and much more.

TOUCH-A-TRUCK:

Come and climb up into two fire trucks, bucket truck, monster truck, police cruiser, dump truck,  National Guard Humvee, National Guard personnel transporter, Giant Crane, SWAT vehicles, and more!!

Taste of Forsyth

The “Taste of Forsyth” will be held this Saturday, April 9th from 11am to 7pm at the Cumming Fairgrounds and is sponsored by the City of Cumming.

The event offers free admission, but charges a range of $1 – $4 per food sampling. In addition to food, there will be live music, inflatables, kid’s activities, and more!
